ABOUT

Angelica’s journey to floristry has been anything but ordinary.

Born and raised in Colombia, Angelica grew up immersed in the arts. She studied violin and piano for many years at a classical conservatory, surrounded by music, literature, and creativity. That foundation in art and expression shaped her eye for harmony, balance, and design—qualities that would later resurface and guide her work in an unexpected way: through flowers.

After earning a degree in engineering and completing postgraduate studies in marketing, Angelica spent two decades building a successful corporate career—first in South America, then in the United States. Yet amid the structure and pace of that world, she felt a quiet pull toward something more meaningful and hands-on.

That pull led her back to her creative roots. Together with her husband, John, also an engineer, she founded Five Blossoms Farm in Clover, South Carolina. Over the past five years, the farm has flourished—renowned for its seasonal, sustainably grown blooms and thoughtful approach to working with nature. Each flower is cultivated or carefully sourced with respect for the land and its pollinators.

Now, with Five Blossoms Shoppe, Angelica and John are bringing that same spirit closer to home. The Shoppe is a place for the community to gather, explore local and sustainable florals, and engage in creative workshops and intimate events. It’s a natural extension of their farm—a space that invites people to slow down, find beauty in the everyday, and celebrate connection through flowers.

Five Blossoms Shoppe is more than a flower shop. It’s a reflection of Angelica’s journey—from the discipline of engineering to the artistry of design, from corporate life to the freedom of farming. Here, flowers tell stories, neighbors connect, and beauty becomes part of everyday life.
